Ferns, Forbs, and Flowers of the Forest

Join SCT Conservation Biologist, Brian McKnight, for a plant identification hike at the Ridge Nature Preserve. Learn about a variety of understory plant species common to the Piedmont region of Georgia while touring trails that traverse the Ridge. The length of the walk will vary depending on the audience but will be between 1-2 miles. Pants and closed-toed shoes are suggested. Meet at the pavilion/bathrooms at 9am.
Cost:
Members: $10
Non-Members: $20
Parking is available on the south side of the Fayette County Public Library. For accessible parking, please call 770-486-7774 ext. 5
