Homeschool Day: Carnivorous Plants
September 20, 2022 @ 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
This August, we’ll be learning all about carnivorous plants, the different types there are, and why these plants need to “eat.” Then we’ll check out the FEEC Bog Garden to see what carnivorous plants are growing on site. We’ll also do a scientific drawing of a carnivorous plant of your choice and get to know these cool organisms up close!
Join us on the 3rd Tuesday of the month for an in-depth exploration of a science-based topic. Each homeschool day will include a 30-45 minute presentation followed by a hands-on activity, craft, or game to support the topic. Advanced registration is required. Space is limited!
