Internships

Do you enjoy being outdoors and want to learn more about the environment?

Are you interested in what the Southern Conservation Trust does and want to learn more about it? Consider becoming an SCT intern.

We offer internships for credit and non-credit in a variety of areas. Interns looking to complete their internship for credit must commit to at least one semester (or 5 months). Internships for non-credit can vary in length. All interns will be asked to complete a project in their focus area. Projects can range from park maintenance (boardwalk or trail construction) to hosting an art exhibit to writing a research paper. Project requirements will be discussed on an individual basis with chosen interns.

Possible topics for internships include:

  • Park Planning
  • Environmental Education
  • Wildlife Biology
  • Environmental Art
  • History
  • Social Media
  • Fundraising

This list is not all-inclusive and if there is a topic you are particularly interested in that you believe fits within the Southern Conservation Trust then please reach out.
