The Southern Conservation Trust is proud to announce that we will be opening the Fayette Environmental Education Center to the public on Saturday, March 20th, 2021.
The Center will feature multiple exhibit rooms with live wildlife that is native to Georgia, exhibits on native wildlife, plants, an indoor environmental classroom, an environmental art gallery, outdoor teaching gardens, pollinator gardens, agriculture and conservation education, and much more.
The Center is located at 305 Beauregard Boulevard in Downtown Fayetteville, Georgia and will be focused on educating children, families and adults of all ages on everything nature in Georgia has to offer.
Rooted in Nature is a $530,000 capital campaign to transform our vision for the Fayette Environmental Education Center into reality by opening the only environmental education center of its kind south of Atlanta. With no state or federal funding, it is only through YOUR support that we can offer high-quality environmental outreach and education for the community. We have received a challenge match pledge from a local donor who will match $75,000 dollar for dollar until December 31st.
