FAYETTEVILLE, GA – The Southern Conservation Trust invites Georgia and its Southeastern community members to join them for their 5th Annual Benefit and Auction, a Black Tie and Pearl Soirée, at the beautiful Crowne Plaza Atlanta SW in Peachtree City, Georgia, on Saturday, September 30, 2023, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. The Benefit and Auction will feature live music, raffles, games, a fantastic dinner, beer from Line Creek Brewing, and a silent auction that will open online a week before the event. All proceeds will extend environmental education and access to nature at the Fayette Environmental Education Center.

This year’s theme, Black Tie and Pearl Soirée will be an elegant night to celebrate Southern Conservation Trust’s 30th ‘Pearl Anniversary.’ Interim Executive Director, Brian Cooper, said, “This year, our ‘Pearl Anniversary’ represents the organization’s long-lasting commitment to our mission and community. We cannot wait to see everyone in their pearl tie pins, cufflinks, and necklaces.”

Over the past 30 years, the Southern Conservation Trust has dedicated itself to elevating nature through exceptional land stewardship and environmental education in Fayette County and the Southeast. Proceeds from the event will support the organization’s goal of connecting our community and children with nature at their Fayette Environmental Education Center. Proceeds will link children with environmental education and encourage meaningful interactions with nature. The Fayette Environmental Education Center serves as the community’s environmental education classroom that proudly served 1,500 children in the past year. The 5th Annual Benefit and Auction will support Southern Conservation Trust in doubling its impact next year by providing our local children with experiences and interactions with nature, adding new educational programs and exhibits, and providing homeschool programs, field trips, and community events.

By purchasing your ticket today or sponsoring the event, you can support this fantastic non-profit 501(c)3 organization and its strong bond and long-lasting commitment to the community and its mission.
