FAYETTEVILLE, GA – The Vince Rossetti Charity Golf Classic, hosted by the Southern Conservation Trust, will return to the beautiful grounds of the Flat Creek Country Club in Peachtree City, Georgia, on Monday, September 25, 2023. All event proceeds will benefit the Southern Conservation Trust and Coco’s Cupboard.

The family of Vince Rossetti, a long-time Fayette County resident and the founder of Ravin Homes, began this annual golf tournament in his memory. Mr. Rossetti was also a founding member of the Peachtree City Optimist Club. “We are thankful to have the opportunity to host this well-established charity golf classic, fondly known as ‘The Vince,’” said the Trust’s Interim Executive Director, Brian Cooper. This year’s tournament will double its impact by supporting the missions of two nonprofits in the area.

The Southern Conservation Trust elevates nature through exceptional stewardship. To protect valuable greenspace, SCT manages six public nature areas in Fayette County, which total over 580 acres for the community to enjoy. SCT also impacts more than 79,000 acres throughout the southeast with conservation easements and private preserves. Furthermore, it serves as the community’s environmental education classroom at their project, The Fayette Environmental Education Center, which offers environmental education, community programs, and events.

Coco’s Cupboard is a non-profit humane society that strives to stem the tide of abandoned dogs and cats in the southern crescent of Atlanta. Their volunteer board members are committed to every animal in need, and they work tirelessly to prevent future unwanted litters, surrenders, and abandonments. Their sister organization, Tails of Hope, provides service dog training for disabled individuals, special needs children, wounded veterans, and first responders. They also offer hope, fellowship, and a lifetime of support and resources for individuals and families that need it most.
