The Southern Conservation Trust is excited to expand our Environmental Education Summer Camps to six camps, ranging from ages 6 to 18. In an effort to better serve the community, we have divided are camps into smaller age groups.

Camp WILD will be held for three weeks, alternating between Line Creek and The Ridge Nature Area. Campers ages 6-9 will experience the outdoors through a series of environmentally engaging programming. Science teachers, naturalists, and volunteers will use the natural characteristics, rare species, and geological diversity of Line Creek Nature Area and The Ridge Nature Area for the basis of their environmental education, providing hands-on, fun activities. Within the Curriculum, partners including: The Southern Crescent Storytellers, Atlanta Wild Animal Rescue Effort (AWARE), and lecture/demonstrations by researchers from Clayton State to teach campers how to help protect turtles and their nests.

The week-long Outdoor Adventure Camp invites campers ages 10-13 to participate in a variety of outdoor activities including archery, tree climbing, wilderness navigation, fishing, backcountry skills, and Leave No Trace principles and practice. The camp will be held at Morgan Grove and Whitewater Creek.
