Designed for scouts and scout leaders, outdoor enthusiasts and anyone who works or spends time in remote environments, this course teaches advanced skills to be used in emergencies when help from professional first responders may be far away. Participants must be 14 years of age and hold a current CPR/FA certification. This is a two day course with both indoor and outdoor learning experiences.
The two-day Leave No Trace Trainer Course is a vital component of the national Leave No Trace program. It is a condensed version of the Master Educator Course and is designed for educators, guides, agency employees, other outdoor professionals and anyone interested in learning more about minimum impact skills and ethics. This course covers the Seven Principles of Leave No Trace as well as techniques for disseminating these low impact skills.
Want to be more prepared on the trail, at home, or at work? Complete the basic CPR/FA/AED Course with the Southern Conservation Trust. This certification is needed to complete the Wilderness First Aid Course.
