Vince Rossetti Charity Golf Classic

Benefitting the Southern Conservation Trust, Coco’s Cupboard, and Tails of Hope.

The annual golf tournament was created in memory of Vince Rossetti, a long-time Fayette County resident and the founder of Ravin Homes. Mr. Rossetti was also a founding member of the Peachtree City Optimist Club.

All proceeds will support our organization’s mission of elevating nature through exceptional stewardship, the efforts of Coco’s Cupboard, whose mission is to stem the tide of abandoned dogs and cats in the southern crescent of Atlanta, and the goal of Tails of Hope to change lives at both ends of the leash. 

The Southern Conservation Trust (SCT) elevates nature through exceptional stewardship. To protect valuable greenspace, SCT manages six public nature areas in Fayette County, which total over 580 acres for the community to enjoy. SCT also impacts more than 79,000 acres. Furthermore, it serves as the community’s environmental education classroom at their project, The Fayette Environmental Education Center.

Coco’s Cupboard, Inc. is a non-profit humane society that strives to stem the tide of abandoned dogs and cats in the southern crescent of Atlanta. Their volunteer board members are committed to every animal in need, and they work tirelessly to prevent future unwanted litters, surrenders, and abandonments.

Tails of Hope, a nonprofit organization, aims to change lives at both ends of the leash. They provide service dog training for disabled individuals, special needs children, wounded veterans, and first responders. They also provide hope, fellowship, and a lifetime of support and resources for individuals and families that need it most.

3:00 PM | Post Play Reception & Award Ceremony (Clubhouse Banquet Room): After a great day on the course, join us for the Hor d’oeurve Banquet! While learning more about Vince Rossetti from his family, enjoy heavy appetizers such as pretzel bites, chicken bites, quesadillas, and more. Winners of the included contests, Fancy Pants, and the additional VIP hole-in-one contests will be announced. In addition, some fantastic items will be raffled off! Items in the raffle include a Scotty Cameron Putter, Club Champion manual cart, a GOGOGO Sport range finder, and more!

For even more fun on the day of ‘The Vince,’ each team is invited, but not required, to compete for the ‘Fancy Pants’ award! Golf skills don’t matter for this one! This is your opportunity to be creative, unique and show off your silliest and most eccentric golf attire. We can’t wait to see your team’s flashy prints, bold colors, and maybe even a few sequins!

Flat Creek Country Club is a 27-hole facility located in Peachtree City. The golf course opened in 1968 and was designed by Joe Lee. Ever popular among Members, this 27-hole championship Peachtree City golf course features three diverse nines, various elevation changes, and beautiful views of the Flat Creek, which meanders throughout the course. Flat Creek Country Club also features a large, double-sided driving range with mat and grass-hitting areas, targets, premium range balls, and a short game practice area. Golf play will be on the Homestead and Graveyard course for a total play of 18 holes. Players 70+ can play from the green tees.

The Southern Conservation Trust, established in 1993 as a 501(c)3, will host the 2023 Vince Rossetti Charity Golf Classic on Monday, September 25, 2023. The Golf Classic, established and known fondly as ‘The Vince,’ will support our organization’s mission of elevating nature through exceptional stewardship, support the efforts of Coco’s Cupboard, whose mission is to stem the tide of abandoned dogs and cats in the southern crescent of Atlanta, and the goal of Tails of Hope to change lives at both ends of the leash.

Proceeds will benefit environmental education and access to nature, stem the tide of abandoned dogs and cats in the southern crescent of Atlanta, and provide service dog training to veterans and others needing their services.
